While uploading the rest of my footage from the hail storm that hit northern Ohio on August 7th, I came across a featured video on YouTube of a lightning bolt. This was no ordinary lightning footage though as you can actually see all of the feeders traveling to the ground. Once one of the feeder bolts touches the ground, you can see the bolt light up with electricity. This is one of the best videos I have ever seen which clearly illustrates how lightning is formed.
Is this video a fake? Personally, I don’t think so. I think this video was taken with one of those super cameras which can take thousands of frames per second. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, check out this post I did on a camera which shoots 5,400 FPS.
I can’t help but think of Ernest acting the role of Akismet in this scene.
Wow, what a classic movie that was. I’ll admit, it scared me when it was released to the public but not anymore! Anyone else enjoy the Ernest series of movies?
Well, this would be my second screencast produced out of Camtasia Studio 5 and I’m learning more and more that screencasts are the not the easiest things to create. I’m also trying to learn the magic recording/producing formula which will net me the best results on sites such as Viddler. It sucks to create something that looks so good on my local machine, only to have it look like crap on Viddler. But I think I’m getting closer to the magic bullet.
In any case, Brian asked me about ScribeFire and what it was all about. This screencast aims to answer that question while also providing an in depth review as to what this extension is capable of.

This was hilarious. An NBC anchorwoman while live on the air ended up dropping the F bomb then later apologized for her OFFENSIVE language! I wonder if she is still employed?
To be honest, I really can’t blame the guy for what he did. It reminds me of when I was in high school and as I’m trying to get my work done, some idiot is throwing things at me or flicking my error. Eventually, You Can’t Stands No More!
Digg.com has a wide arrangement of images that people submit to the site on a daily basis. This video on YouTube shows off a compilation of the funniest images highlighted on Digg. Some classics in this bunch for sure!
I found this video over at MarkLimas blog which shows you how you can create a pair of glasses that let’s others know you are wide awake. Perfect solution for those classes in school that are nothing short of boring.
