CNN actually sent out a News Alert via email. CNN and FOX News have killed the term ‘Breaking News’. Our local news channels do the same with the weather. I live in the Mid-West, we have thunderstorms you can hear them coming. They are relatively harmless. However, our news stations can’t wait to throw a bunch of graphics on the screen and scrolling ticker along the bottom telling those idiots who cannot look out the window it’s going to rain and maybe thunder.
